Summer Royalty Pageant

Saturday June 22nd

West-Oak High School

Registration 1pm Pageant starts at 2pm

Enter for only $25 if paid by May 31^st!  That’s a $20.00 savings!!! Entries postmarked by May 31^st will be entered into a drawing for a beach bag filled with gifts valued at over $200!!!!

Get your entries in early!!  First in last out!!!

Final deadline is June 14^th.  All entries must be postmarked by this date. 

ALL contestants will receive a summer prize on stage!! Nobody will go home empty handed!!

Entry fee $45 for beauty also includes prettiest hair, smile, eyes and dress

This is also part of a special project for the Big Brother Big Sister organization.  This project is to help collect school supplies for the children in the Upstate Big Brother Big Sister chapter.  Many of these children do not even have enough school supplies to finish out the school year.  The goal is to make sure that they have enough to finish out the year and also have what is required for their next school year as well.  Each contestant will be required to bring with them at least one school supply item to be donated to the Big Brother Big Sister of the Upstate organization.  The one contestant who brings with them the most supplies will be crowned as our Big Brother Big Sister Queen!!   Please share with your friends and family!

AREAS OF COMPETITION, ATTIRE AND AWARDS

BEAUTY - Ages 0-9 Pageant Gown or Sunday Dress.  Ages 10 & up long gown.  Judges will be told to judge on ease on stage, personality & overall beauty.  Please only age appropriate makeup & attire.  Contestant’s birth to 4yrs should be accompanied by an adult.  Beauty Winners in each group will receive a beautiful crown, trophy & sash.  ALL contestants will receive a prize and be recognized on stage!!  Nobody will go home empty handed!!

PRETTIEST HAIR, SMILE, EYES AND DRESS – All included in the Beauty package.  Winners will be recognized on stage with a sash!

BEACH WEAR - Optional Category – Any cute BEACH or SUMMER outfit or Swimsuit!!  This category is like casual wear but with a spring theme!  Winner will receive a special award!!!

PHOTOGENIC – Optional Category.   All phases of photogenic will receive a special award and or sash.  All photos should be mailed in by the deadline.  Photos should be in a clear plastic sleeve and labeled with name, division and area of competition it is to be judged in

BIG BROTHER BIG SISTER QUEEN - Each contestant will be required to bring with them at least one school supply item to be donated to the Big Brother Big Sister of the Upstate organization.  The one contestant who brings with them the most supplies will be crowned as our Big Brother Big Sister Queen!!

AUDIENCE SUPPORT AWARD – The contestant who brings the most guests to the pageant!!  (we will be keeping track at the door of who is there for which contestant)  The winner will be recognized on stage and will be awarded a crown and CASH prize!!!!!!  So invite all of your friends and family for a fun event!!!

SUMMER ROYALTY SWEETHEART AWARD (Optional)

This award will be given to the contestant who collects the most signatures/sponsors.  The one level 3 or higher contestant who collects the most signatures ($1 each) or sponsors ($50 each) will be presented with the distinguished and prestigious title Overall Summer Royalty Sweetheart Queen!!! This winner will receive a magnificent HUGE round rhinestone crown, HUGE trophy, custom wrap around sash with crown pin, and a gift basket full of goodies!!!!  All contestants competing in this event are guaranteed winners of wonderful award prizes!!  Money will be helped to purchase backpacks and school items for the Big Brother Big Sister Organization.

Level 1 - $50 to $99 - Will receive a Lovely Crown, and 1 foot Trophy!!!

Level 2 - $100–199 - Will receive a Beautiful Crown, and 2 foot trophy!!!

Level 3 - $200 - $299 – Will receive a Dazzling Crown, and 3 foot trophy!!

Level4 - $300 - $399`` – Will receive a Brilliant Crown, 4 foot Trophy!!!

All Signatures/Sponsors and monies for the community Support Award Must be in by deadline June 14th

OTHER

The one contestant who brings with them the most guests to the pageant will be recognized on stage and crowned as the Audience Support Queen!!  Please tell your guests to let them know at admissions who they are there to see as they will be keeping track at the door.  If we have at least 40 contestants we will award two overall winners.  One Mini Grand Supreme Overall Queen in the 0-6 year division and one Grand Supreme Overall Queen in the 7 and up division.  This will be the contestant from each group with the highest score in beauty and beachwear.  The Mini Grand Supreme and Grand Supreme winners will receive a HUGE trophy, a beautiful HUGE crown and sash. We will not double crown!!!

RULES AND GENERAL INFORMATION

Score sheets will not be given out.  You may request your comments via email ONLY after the pageant and they will be emailed to you!  Judges will be told to judge you on how you walk (posture, poise and personality) not where you walk.  So if you have a specific on stage pattern you would like to compete with you are welcome to do so.  Hair, make-up and dress should be age appropriate.  Dress should fit well and compliment the contestant.  Beginners are welcome; no previous pageant experience is needed.  All ages welcome!!  You do not have to be a resident of SC in order to participate!  Every contestant will be recognized on stage and NOBODY will go home empty handed!!  We will not double crown!!  In order to be eligible for the Overall awards you must enter beauty, Spring wear and photogenic categories.
